This is our

Statement of Faith

About God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

About Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

About the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.

About Humanity

Humankind is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. He is the supreme object of God’s creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin.” This attitude separates man from God.

About the Bible

The Bible is God’s Word to all men. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.

About Salvation

Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s penalty.

About Eternal Security

Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives this security.

About Eternity

Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and hell are places of eternal existence.

About the Local Church

We believe in the local church as a part of the universal Body of Christ. It is to be a witness in its local community and extend to the whole world. The local church provides an avenue for the proper use of spiritual gifts and the observance of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

About Baptism and Communion

The Word of God places on the church two perpetual ordinances of the Lord Jesus Christ. The first, believer’s baptism, is the outward sign of what God has already done in the individual’s life and is a testimony to all that the person now belongs to Jesus Christ. It is identification with Jesus and is affected in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The second, the Lord’s Supper, is a commemoration of the death of the Lord and is done in remembrance of Him until He comes again; it is a sign of our loving participation in Him. Both institutions are restricted to those who are believers.

About Human Sexuality and Marriage

We believe God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. Any form of sexual immorality is sinful and offensive to God. Yet God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. We believe that the only Scriptural marriage is the joining of one man and one woman. This covenant union between husband and wife portrays the spiritual union between Christ and His bride, the Church. We believe every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Behavior or attitudes which the Scriptures would categorize as hateful or corrupting are to be rebuked.

This is our

Statement of Practice

Following Jesus is more than agreeing with ideas—it’s about a way of life. These practices are rhythms that shape us to walk with Jesus, reflect His character, and join His work in the world. Our hope is to help you step into these practices so you can experience the joy of a vibrant life with God and with others.

Church Community

God designed growth to happen together. Real transformation comes through relationships where we are known, encouraged, and challenged in love. That’s why we gather in Table Groups—small communities where people can walk with Jesus side by side, share life honestly, and help one another experience His grace and freedom.

Hospitality

Hospitality is more than entertaining guests—it’s making space in our lives and at our tables for others to encounter the love of Jesus. When we welcome people—friends, neighbors, or strangers—we reflect the heart of God, who has welcomed us into His family. Hospitality reminds us that every table can be a place of grace, connection, and transformation. By opening our homes, meals, and lives, we extend God’s invitation to belong.

Sabbath

Rest is God’s gift, not a reward we earn. Sabbath is a weekly rhythm of laying down our striving and remembering that God is in control. By setting aside a day for worship, rest, and renewal, we learn that our value is not in what we produce but in being God’s beloved children.

Solitude

Our lives are filled with noise and distraction. Solitude creates space to be still, quiet the competing voices, and listen for God’s. In moments of being alone with Him, we see our hearts more clearly and realign our lives with His truth and love.

Bible Engagement

God speaks through His Word. Reading, reflecting, and memorizing Scripture opens us to His wisdom, guidance, and truth. We believe God has something to say to us each day, and time in His Word anchors us in His presence and shapes how we live.

Prayer

Prayer is simply conversation with God—sharing our hearts with Him and learning His heart for us. Prayer can shift our circumstances, but it always reshapes us to see God’s presence and power at work. We bring everything—joys, struggles, and needs—before Him daily.

Fasting

Fasting is a way of saying “yes” to God by saying “no” to lesser things. Whether it’s food, media, or habits we set aside, fasting helps us hunger more deeply for God’s presence and depend on Him above all else. It strengthens us against temptation and renews our spiritual focus.

Evangelism

When we’ve truly experienced God’s love, we can’t help but share it. Telling others about Jesus is not about pressure but about invitation—inviting people into the same grace and hope that has transformed our lives. Sharing our faith also deepens our own understanding of God’s goodness.

Serving

Jesus said He came not to be served but to serve. When we serve others, we reflect His heart, lift burdens, and discover joy beyond ourselves. Serving reminds us that life is not just about our own needs—it’s about giving our lives away so others can experience God’s love.

Giving

The good news of Jesus is rooted in generosity—“God gave.” We give our time, our abilities, and our resources because God first gave Himself to us. Through generosity, we reflect His character and help others encounter the hope of the Gospel.
