"A LITTLE WHILE WITH JESUS"
Week 9 — With Jesus: Deep Talks in a Small Room | John 16:16–24
What do we do when we find ourselves in a season of waiting, uncertainty, pain, or confusion—a “little while” where we don’t know what God is doing or how long it will last?
In John 16, Jesus prepares His disciples for a season they never expected. He doesn’t give them a timeline or explain every detail. Instead, He gives them a promise: their sorrow will turn to joy, and they will see Him again.
We all face our own “little whiles.” A job we’re waiting for. A relationship we’re praying for. Grief we’re carrying. Pain we don’t understand. A season where we desperately want answers but God seems to be asking us to wait.
But what if Jesus doesn’t always give us an explanation? What if He gives us something better—His presence, His promise, and a relationship with the Father through the cross?
This week, we explore what it means to trust Jesus in the waiting, to refuse to isolate ourselves in our pain, and to recognize that God can use even our hardest seasons—not only for our good, but for the good of others.
“You will become sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn to joy.” — John 16:20
Join us for Week 9 of With Jesus: Deep Talks in a Small Room as we discover that even in our “little while,” Jesus is near.
