I Am the Resurrection and the Life - Easter Sunday
Easter centers on a bold and life-altering claim: Jesus didn’t just die—He rose again. In this message from John 11, we look at the story of Lazarus and see that Jesus doesn’t just help us cope with death—He has authority over it.
While we often try to avoid or delay death, Jesus invites us to confront a deeper reality: apart from Him, we are spiritually dead and in need of something more than improvement—we need resurrection.
Through this powerful moment, we discover that Jesus isn’t just offering hope for the future—He is offering life right now. He steps into our pain, meets us in our disappointment, and calls us out of the places where we feel stuck, bound, or buried.
Easter is not just about what happens after we die—it’s about experiencing new life today. The question Jesus asks Martha is the same question He asks each of us:
Do you believe this?
